OMERS Ventures’ Wechsler: Insurtech failures are “healthy part of the ecosystem”

OMERS Ventures’ principal David Wechsler said he expects up to 50 percent of insurtechs to shut down amid a shakeout in the segment, and that VC investors anticipate the likelihood of failures, calling it “a healthy part of the ecosystem”.
